All modulesModule 05 · Core Operations

The operational layer the verification sits on - because compliance cannot be bolted onto data it never saw.

A compliance layer is only as good as the transactions feeding it. PROFINLEX runs the day-to-day - orders, receipts, stock, payroll - and each confirmed document posts its ledger entry immediately, which is why the books never drift from what the business actually did.

What this module does

Capabilities, stated as behaviour rather than features.

01

Sales and receivables

Quotation to order to dispatch to invoice, with e-invoice generation and IRN capture, credit limits enforced at order entry, receivable ageing that matches the disclosure format, and collection follow-up held against the contracted credit period.

02

Procurement and payables

Indent, purchase order, goods receipt and three-way match, vendor MSME status captured at onboarding so the s.43B(h) window can be watched from day one, and payment runs released against versioned approval limits.

03

Inventory and costing

Batch and serial tracking, valuation at cost or net realisable value under Ind AS 2, stock ageing with provisioning rules, job-work movement tracked for ITC-04, and physical verification with variance sign-off rather than a silent adjustment.

04

Production and projects

Bills of material, work orders, job costing and work-in-progress valuation with overhead absorption recorded, and percentage-of-completion measurement where the contract requires it under Ind AS 115.

05

Payroll and workforce

Attendance, salary structures, tax on salary with declarations and proof verification, Form 16 issuance, provident fund, ESI and professional tax statements, gratuity actuarial inputs, and full-and-final settlement with the statutory dues cleared.

06

One posting, no reconciliation

There is no nightly sync between an operations system and an accounting system, because there are not two systems. A confirmed document is an accounting entry, which removes an entire category of period-end difference.

The same certification sequence, run on this module's own lines.

Rows are verified one at a time, exceptions are held with the reason attached, and the readiness figure reflects only what has actually passed.

What it raises without being asked

Flags this module produces on its own.

Each of these is a rule with a defined trigger. When it fires, the line is held, the reason is written, and an owner is named - before the position reaches a report.

  • A dispatch made without an e-way bill where one is required
  • An invoice raised above the customer's approved credit limit
  • A goods receipt with no purchase order behind it
  • Stock ageing past the provisioning threshold with no provision made
  • A physical verification variance written off without sign-off
  • Salary paid without the statutory remittance for that month
What it makes unnecessary

Work this module retires.

These are not inefficiencies to be improved. They exist only because the system of record could not answer the question, so someone built a file beside it.

  • A nightly sync between operations and accounts
  • Stock valuation worked out separately at year end
  • Payroll registers kept outside the books
  • Ageing reports reformatted for the auditor
Module 05

See core operations running against your own period.

We will take a period you have already closed, apply this module's checks to it, and show you every line it would have held - with the standard it was tested against and the evidence it would have asked for.

  • No longer needed: a nightly sync between operations and accounts
  • No longer needed: stock valuation worked out separately at year end
  • No longer needed: payroll registers kept outside the books
